I've been meaning to email you and thank you for our day recently - I've had lots of positive comments about the colours and make up I've been wearing from lots of different people! I am so glad that I had my colours "done" again - I have totally revamped my wardrobe (reducing, not increasing!!) and got rid of things I should never have bought!

I cannot thank you enough for coming and pointing out my colour problems etc. You have saved me an absolute fortune for shopping. I don’t buy just because I like the look of it any more! My colour swatch is invaluable.
I have been out and purchased a red jacket, cami vests in red and yellow. I have colour in my wardrobe again!

A very belated thank you for such a fabulous time last Friday !
It has been so instructive and useful and soooooooooo enjoyable !! I really learned a lot and thanks to you I felt so relaxed and almost 100% confident when I did my lady yesterday !
Anyway... as I went along, I kept checking the way you suggested... it's brilliant... works so well ! Summer killed her.... Winter was like the sun going behind a cloud... Autumn aged her.... and Spring was lovely !!
She loved her colours - she was Vibrant-Clear... the good thing is that she loves colours !
I think she was very pleased with her session - she bought some make-up as well... which is a bonus !
It's certainly given me a taste for it... I need to do a lot more... experience comes from practise... of course

Anyway, how are all your projects coming along? When are you starting your training classes?
On that subject, would there be any chance I could be your first client on a consultant basis... I mean, would it be possible for me to come to you for a refresher-cum-advice session before 20 Jan - I have a new client booked for that day for a colour session and I would just love to get it absolutely right... for obvious reasons !!
It has been invaluable for me to attend your sessions before and I am truly grateful to you for letting me do so - but I feel I could do with an additional refresher.... so, if you could, that would be smashing!! Let me know your fees and everything!

Just a note to say many thanks for the Colour Workshop you kindly did with my friends and I recently. We all really enjoyed it and have been thinking more about what we are wearing! I had a lovely compliment from a friend yesterday on the colours I was wearing and how much they suited me (green and orange - Autumn), though I still sometime wear my old favourite pink sweatshirt!

I have to say again... the loose mineral powder is just so good. It's the makeup equivalent of GHD hair straighteners (best straighteners on the planet)
We went for a run earlier on and I looked dreadful... no makeup on all day etc. (horrendous)... I wanted to pop quickly out to Sainsbury's and just slapped a load of powder on with a bit of concealer and generic touche eclat -- achieved the same look in seconds that it normally takes ages to get right with traditional foundation!!
(I wouldn't dare go into Sainsbury's here without makeup on as I often bump into people I know .... was different down south as I would never have seen anyone)

Velocity Man is fine. Saw him yesterday in Devon. His skin looks REALLY good. It was after his work and there was no sign of greasiness.  Let's hope it lasts.  Thank you.

The Velocity is going great. I think I've used it every morning and night since I saw you.
I caught Emma using the moisturiser so I told her she has to do the whole routine or nothing at all. So now we're both on it. We've both noticed a real difference. I normally have quite a dry face, but moisturising every day has really helped. I'm still quite spotty, but putting that down to stress and eating crap! Despite the spots, my skin just looks much better.
Thanks for the make-up regime too. We haven't practiced it yet, but think we might do it this evening. Sarah's keen to see me putting make-up on.

"Well, as you say, it was not hat weather so that was abandoned with many others as one staggered into wind along the quayside. OK for Camilla getting out of cars undercover etc.
I was delighted with the make up. It looked fantastic. The pencils, as you say, are so soft to work with. Stuck to all your rules and advice. I kept looking at myself when I passed a mirror on board - how vain!!! I checked it in 'day' light and artificial light so reckon I had it right.  Noticed people looking at it sometimes and I'm sure it was because it looked so good and matched the glasses. I thought other women around looked very bland... The make up was still as good as new at 19.00hrs. after having been applied at 07.30. Super!!  I didn't want to go to clean it off.  Do you know about 90% of the women were wearing total black.  Looked more like a funeral really.
Yes, bad omen about the bottle!  Evidently the two ships, which Princess Anne has launched both suffered unbroken bottles so they aren't asking her again.  We thought the ship quite gloomy really; lots of wooden walls/bulkheads - very dismal with a beige/brown colour running through the public rooms.  All very a la Titanic.  ( Not another bad omen I hope)."

“Hi Pauline. This will probably seem very random, but I just wanted to email and thank you for the advice you gave me in a Monsoon changing room recently. I was the girl, with my boyfriend Paul, who was freaking out about been seen in a particular dress!! Anyway, thanks to you and Paul I managed to find an outfit within minutes and if it hadn't have been for you I probably would've avoided going to the wedding altogether. (As you could probably tell, I'm not someone who wears dresses all that often!!)
Thank you so much for your wonderful advice and for giving my confidence such a boost. The wedding was amazing and I felt great in the dress and shoes. This is not something that I'm able to say all that often, but I 'know' that I looked good on the day too.
I still can't believe that in the midst of all my panic, an image consultant happened to be in the changing room with me. Your advice was so appreciated. You'll be pleased to know, I've since ventured out in a few more dresses...that one you and Paul helped me pick definitely gave a boost to the confidence! Spending time with Pauline looking at image and colour has certainly transformed the way I approach my clothes shopping – Pauline's advice has enabled me to move from my “business/cooperate” image and gain the confidence to purchase items for my wardrobe, which I previously have thought too “risky”. I am always getting compliments about the clothes I wear. Shopping trips are speedier leaving longer for lunch!
As for Pauline's wardrobe review service – well that is certainly something I would recommend to anyone who suffers with the “I've nothing to wear” when the have a bursting at the seams wardrobe – she was harsh but very fair when she came to review mine.
